Selling Collectible Coins

If you're selling a coin collection – or just selling collectible coins – dealing with Midwest Mint is an easy and fair process. You'll receive prompt and courteous attention, and a fair and professional, free appraisal of any collectible coins you're selling. HERE ARE YOUR CHOICES:

• Call toll-free 877-770-7040 and talk to our Appraisors about selling collectible coins. 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, USA Central Time (0900-1700, GMT -6), Monday - Friday.
  
• Selling collectible coins by mail. Save time! Send your coin collection to us for a FREE APPRAISAL, but please make sure:
  1. They are properly packed, physically separated  from each other
  2. They are insured (optional, but if they aren't worth insuring, we may not be interested in buying them!)
  3. To include your CONTACT INFO inside the box or envelope you use.
  4. To tell us if your coins have already been professionally graded.

• E-mail a detailed description of the collectible coins you're selling at info@midwestmint.com.
  
• You can also FAX us a description of your coins at 612 339-0961. Please type or print the descriptions. (not a toll-free number)
• You can also write to us at the above address and include a description and/or pictures of your coins.
• If you are in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul, Minnesota “Twin Cities” area, please call us on our local telephone number, 612 339-0706.

In most cases, we will get back to you within 48 hours with a free, professional appraisal of your coins, and a fair offer. You can then decide whether you accept our offer to buy the coins. If you accept our offer, Midwest Mint will send you a check in US funds, usually on the same day you accept our offer! We are also willing to travel to your location if you are selling a large coin collection!

Because we are established coin dealers, we may have something in our inventory which you might consider in trade for your coins. In some cases, we will also consider consignment deals if you're selling a large coin collection. As professional coin dealers, we have many outlets to sell your coins.
